Traditional Site Coordinator – Lubbock High School
Communities In Schools of The South Plains® is seeking to fill a site coordinator position in the Lubbock Independent School District on the Lubbock High School campus to work with students at risk of dropping out of school. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or a related field, and three years of experience with student services and case management. Other duties include implementing the CIS program; counseling students, families, and small groups; and coordination of community resources to meet students’ needs. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver’s license, and have case management experience. Need to fill position immediately. Communities In Schools of the South Plains® is seeking to fill the ACE Site Supervisor position at Shallowater Intermediate campus in Shallowater ISD to work with students at risk of dropping out of school. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver’s license, have excellent communication skills, and have experience in data entry, activity planning, and supervising. Other duties include the implementation of before and after-school programs and coordination of community resources to meet student needs. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or a related field and three years of experience with student services. Teacher certification is preferred. ACE Family Engagement Specialist – Cycle 11- CIS
Communities In Schools of The South Plains® is seeking to fill a Family Engagement Specialist position to plan, coordinate, and implement programs that encourage family engagement. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver’s license, be adaptable to meet parent needs, have experience in effective communication with parents, and exhibit knowledge/experience with child development and family support services. Other duties include traveling to rural centers on a regular basis, working with families of diverse cultures, and working evenings on parent activity nights. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and three or more years’ experience. An associate’s degree may be substituted.
