Communities In Schools of the South Plains® and Ballet Lubbock have partnered together for over nine years. Ballet Lubbock currently works with 22 campuses and over 600 students weekly. Through our partnership with Ballet Lubbock, interested students who maintain attendance, behavior, and academic goals have the opportunity to participate in free weekly Dance Connect classes with a professional instructor in local elementary schools. The students are gifted a free pair of dance shoes and taught the elements of dance through movement and special performances.
Thank you, Ballet Lubbock, for your ongoing partnership!
