Our Site Coordinators work with volunteers, partners, and the local community to provide students with the resources they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Communities In Schools® is cost-effective – for less than $200 annually per student, we are able to provide a comprehensive range of community services.
Troubled students and their families often have a hard time accessing and navigating through the maze of public and private services. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities In Schools® brings local resources inside the public school setting, where they are accessible, coordinated, and accountable.
Texas ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) provides no-cost activities before and after school and during summer for K–12 students in Title I schools. With an interactive and fun curriculum, ACE programs resulted in fewer absences, improved grades, and higher test scores in English and Math in grades 9-12.

Communities In Schools of the South Plains® works alongside our local school districts to help children reach their full potential. We engage students in learning through case management and whole school services and mentor children in need to ensure they have the proper support to succeed in life.
