Communities In Schools of the South Plains® is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and student-focused ACE Site Supervisor to lead our After School Centers on Education (ACE) program. If you enjoy building relationships, coordinating engaging activities, and creating opportunities for students to succeed academically and personally, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Mission
As an ACE Site Supervisor, you are the leader of the after-school program on your campus. You’ll create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students receive academic assistance, participate in enrichment activities, and develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. You’ll work closely with school staff, community partners, contractors, volunteers, students, and families to ensure every child has access to meaningful learning experiences after the school day ends.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Program: Oversee the daily operations of the ACE after-school program, ensuring a safe, organized, and engaging environment for students.
- Supervise Staff & Volunteers: Coordinate and supervise contractors, volunteers, tutors, and enrichment providers to deliver high-quality programming.
- Support Student Success: Monitor student participation and encourage academic growth through homework assistance, tutoring, and enrichment opportunities.
- Build Community Partnerships: Connect with local organizations and community resources to provide educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
- Coordinate Activities: Plan and manage engaging programs that promote academic achievement, leadership, creativity, and healthy lifestyles.
- Collaborate with School Staff: Work closely with campus administrators, teachers, and CIS staff to support student needs and program goals.
- Maintain Program Records: Track attendance, maintain required documentation, and ensure compliance with grant and organizational requirements.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Experience working with school-age children in an educational, youth development, or after-school setting. Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- The Essentials: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to pass a criminal background check, and a passion for helping students succeed.
