Support Student Success Behind the Scenes: ACE Program Assistant
Do you enjoy keeping programs organized while making a meaningful impact in your community? Communities In Schools of the South Plains® is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative ACE Program Assistant to support the daily operations of our After School Centers on Education (ACE) program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating projects, and helping ensure students receive high-quality after-school programming.
The Mission
As the ACE Program Assistant, you’ll provide administrative and operational support to the ACE Program Director and campus staff. You’ll help coordinate program activities, maintain records, support communications, and ensure the program runs efficiently so Site Supervisors can focus on serving students.
What You’ll Do
- Support Program Operations: Assist with the daily administrative functions of the ACE program across multiple campus sites.
- Coordinate Training & Meetings: Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and assist with staff trainings and professional development.
- Maintain Program Records: Organize documentation, track attendance and program data, and assist with grant reporting requirements.
- Support Campus Staff: Provide administrative assistance to Site Supervisors and help troubleshoot operational needs.
- Coordinate Communications: Serve as a liaison between campus staff, community partners, vendors, and the ACE Program Director.
- Assist with Events: Help coordinate student activities, family engagement events, and community partnership initiatives.
- Promote Program Quality: Assist with monitoring program compliance and ensuring required documentation is complete and accurate.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Experience providing administrative support, coordinating programs, or working in education, nonprofit, or youth-serving organizations..
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The Essentials: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to pass a criminal background check, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
