Lead the Mission: Traditional Program Director

Communities In Schools of the South Plains® is seeking an experienced and dedicated Traditional Program Director to oversee the development, implementation, and management of the CIS® Traditional Program.
The Mission
As the Traditional Program Director, you will provide leadership and oversight for the CIS® Traditional Program, ensuring that campus programs are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals. You’ll work closely with Site Coordinators and school partners while monitoring program activities, data, and outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Team: Oversee the development, implementation, and management of the CIS® Traditional Program across assigned campus sites.
- Support Campus Teams: Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and guidance to Site Coordinators and other program staff.
- Analyze Data: Review program data, student outcomes, attendance, activities, and other performance measures to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee Activities: Support the development and implementation of student activities, campus initiatives, and community resource opportunities.
- Manage Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely data entry, program documentation, reports, and other required records.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with school administrators, teachers, staff, community partners, students, families, and CIS® employees.
- Provide Training: Facilitate the onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for program staff.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and consistent communication with campus personnel, CIS® leadership, and community partners.
- Champion Student Success: Ensure the CIS® Traditional Program remains focused on connecting students with the resources, relationships, and support they need to succeed.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field required.
- Leadership Experience: At least three years of supervisory experience required.
- Program Experience: Experience with program development, implementation, activity planning, and program management.
- Data Skills: Experience with data entry, recordkeeping, and monitoring program information.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of audiences.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and campus sites.
- The Essentials: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to travel to supervised sites, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
